I have been feeling like I am back on the road to recovery. My left arm is still weak but I feel like I can start working on getting it back into shape. Recently I came across the 100 Push Up Challenge. (I think body weight exercises especially push ups are a great way to rehab damaged muscles) It is a basic plan that gets you ready to be able to attempt 100 push ups at one time. There was a time when I actually could do around 80 push ups but I have gained about 50lbs since then. Couple that with CIDP and it makes it uncertain that I will ever be able to get to 100. Still it is a challenge and something to look forward to. I was able to do 9 push ups for my starting out maximum on Saturday evening.
I was still sore from Saturday but I was able to do all five sets for the first day. I will try to keep on track and let you know how I fare.
